Who we are

This Privacy Policy describes how Creators Rodeo LLC (“Creators Rodeo,” “we,” “us”), an independent app studio based in Houston, Texas, handles information when you use our apps, including Keto Boot Camp, Meditation Boot Camp, and Heights Buzz (the “Apps”), and our website at creators.rodeo (together, the “Services”).

The short version: we collect only what we need to run the Services, we never sell your personal information, and you can ask us to access or delete your data at any time.

Information we collect

Information you give us

• Account information, such as your name, email address, and password or sign-in credentials if you create an account.
• Content you create, such as program progress, logs, journal entries, posts, comments, and messages.
• Communications, such as the emails you send us for support or feedback.

Information collected automatically

• Device and usage information, such as device type, operating system, app version, language, and how you interact with features.
• Diagnostics, such as crash reports and performance data that help us find and fix problems.
• Website data. Our website doesn’t use advertising or tracking cookies, and we don’t run analytics on it today. Our hosting provider processes basic technical data, like IP addresses, in server logs to deliver and secure the site.

Information from others

• App stores and payment processors. If you buy a subscription through the App Store or Google Play, Apple or Google processes the payment. We receive confirmation of your purchase and subscription status, not your full payment card details.
• Sign-in providers. If you choose to sign in with a service like Apple or Google, we receive the basic profile information you authorize, such as your name and email address.

Health and wellness information

Some of our Apps help you build health and wellness habits, and you may choose to enter information such as meal and fasting logs, weight, mood, or journal entries. We use this information only to provide the features you ask for. We don’t sell it, and we don’t use it for advertising.

If an App offers to connect with Apple Health or Google Health Connect, it will only do so with your permission, and you can turn that access off at any time in your device settings.

Our Apps provide general education and coaching. They are not medical advice.

How we use information

• To provide, maintain, and improve the Services, including the features you choose to use.
• To create and manage your account and process your purchases and subscriptions.
• To respond to your questions and send you service messages, such as receipts and security notices.
• To understand how the Services are used, so we can fix bugs and make them better.
• To send newsletters or product updates you’ve signed up for. You can unsubscribe at any time.
• To keep the Services safe, prevent fraud and abuse, and comply with the law.

How we share information

We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share information only in these situations:

• Service providers who help us run the Services, such as hosting, email delivery, customer support, and crash reporting. They may use your information only to perform services for us.
• App stores and payment processors, to complete purchases and manage subscriptions.
• Other users, when you choose to post in community features, such as a public post in Heights Buzz.
• Legal reasons, when we believe in good faith that disclosure is required by law or needed to protect the rights, safety, or property of our users, the public, or Creators Rodeo.
• Business transfers, if we’re involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. We’ll let you know before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
• With your consent, or at your direction.

Third-party services

We use a small number of trusted providers. Today, that includes:

• Hosting: Vercel, which hosts this website.
• App distribution and payments: Apple (App Store) and Google (Google Play).
• Analytics and crash reporting: if we add these to an App, we’ll list the provider here and describe what it collects.

These providers have their own privacy policies, which govern how they handle information they collect directly.

Data retention

We keep personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal information within 30 days, except where we must keep limited records for legal, tax, security, or fraud-prevention reasons. Backups are overwritten on a rolling basis.

Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you, and get a copy of it.
• Correct information that’s inaccurate.
• Delete your personal information.
• Object to or restrict certain processing, or withdraw consent you’ve given.
• Opt out of marketing emails, using the unsubscribe link in any message.

To make a request, email neil@creators.rodeo. We’ll respond within the time required by law, and we may need to verify your identity first. We won’t discriminate against you for exercising your rights. If we decline your request, you can appeal by replying to our decision. Residents of Texas, California, and other U.S. states with privacy laws, and people in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, can use these rights as provided by their local laws.

Account deletion

In our Apps that offer accounts, you can delete your account from inside the App, typically under Settings → Account → Delete account. You can also email neil@creators.rodeo from the address on your account. Deleting an App from your device doesn’t delete your account. If you subscribed through the App Store or Google Play, cancel your subscription there as well; deleting your account doesn’t cancel it automatically.

Children’s privacy

Our Services aren’t directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we’ll delete it.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, including encryption in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security, but we work hard to protect your data and will notify you if a breach affects you as required by law.

International users

We’re based in the United States, and we process and store information in the United States and other countries where our providers operate. By using the Services, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in these countries, where data protection laws may differ from those where you live.

App-specific details

Each App may collect a little more or less than the general categories above. The specifics are below, and each App’s App Store and Google Play privacy labels will match them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our Services change. When we do, we’ll change the effective date at the top of this page, and if the changes are significant, we’ll let you know in the App or by email before they take effect.
